So Much Mahalo! To date since having these listed for about a year, truth be told, we haven’t helped to sell of the items through these Amazon associate seller links. We Trust that our Limited puppy families either have the adequate Essentials in place already or that they’re otherwise finding these particular products for sale elsewhere.

Do not compromise on the water dispenser. It needs to be stainless steel bowl that’s removable from the stand for all around cleaning now and then, must have opaque or frosted hard plastic as the container structure, and easily use carbon filters that aren’t expensive to replace about every 6 to 10 months. Listed below is the best made water bowls for your money. If using outdoor automatic filling stainless steel bowls connected to your water line, it’s always smart to have an inline carbon filter somewhere behind that so your precious boo bear does not have to contend with a daily diet of consistent low concentration chlorinated/fluorinated (dep where dog lives) city water. There is too much chlorine in it to be drinking every day as your main source of water like your canine would be doing. Could you drink tap water everyday as your only source of hydration and not eventually get too much chloramine or come down with some undiagnosable ailment because of what could be flowing through the water supply at any given point in time? Goldens are smart — they’ll eventually discover their climbing skills. The X-pen should be secured in one way or another so that the pup cannot move the enclosure by leaning or standing up against the sides. If used outdoors, make sure it’s always in the shade. When pup grows out of it, the X-pen doubles as a lightweight fence or room cordon.	Amazon Basics Dog Bed Metal frame, just 4 bolts — sturdy, easy to assemble, inexpensive. If the fabric gets chewed, replacements are cheap and easy to install. Click to read more The Amazon Basics dog bed is way better than ANY of the others (we’ve tried most all of them) because it uses a simple metal (not plastic) frame design and just 4 bolts. It doesn’t fall apart, it’s easy to assemble, and it’s inexpensive. Should your pup chew a hole in the fabric, replacement fabrics are also inexpensive and easy to install.
Whelping Pads Double as Furniture/Bed/Car Seat Covers Washable, reusable pads for house training. Use under the X-pen, as couch/bed covers, or car seat protectors — lots of uses and good pricing. Click to read more These washable and reusable pads are essential to keeping your home cleaner during house training. You can use them under the X-pen, as couch or bed covers, or even as a seat protector in your car — the uses are many. Like the other items on this list, Amazon offers competitive pricing for these whelping pads.	Stainless Steel Food and Water Bowls SS bowls are hygienic and easy to clean. These have anti-skid rubber bottoms. Large size is fine — your Golden will grow into it quickly. These particular SS dog bowls have anti-skid rubber covered bottoms to prevent the bowl from moving while your pup is chowing down. There’s nothing wrong with getting the large size, as your Golden will quickly grow into it.
PetSafe Water Dispenser Clean water access is critical. Stainless bowl resists bacteria; translucent bottle is easy to monitor. Pair with the charcoal filter below. Click to read more It’s very important that your pup always has access to clean drinking water. This PetSafe dispenser is the best we’ve used. The stainless steel bowl resists bacteria, and the translucent bottle makes water level easy to monitor. We strongly recommend adding the charcoal filter, which the company sells separately. It helps prevent algae and bacteria buildup in both the reservoir container and bowl. If your golden pup enjoys splashing the water out of the drinking bowl to lay in the puddle they created, you should probably consider the 320 oz size dispenser. Use inexpensive, absorbent, bathroom floor mats or dish rack mats under and around dispenser to catch the spills.	PetSafe Charcoal Filter Keeps reservoir and bowl cleaner longer; reduces bacteria and algae. Quick sniff test on refill day tells you when to wash. Without it, cleaning the bottle is a frequent necessity. I’ve found that these filters last a bit longer than the manufacturer’s suggested expiration. Quick tip: when refilling the container, first inspect the inside visually and give it a sniff— if there’s any odor, its time to clean it with soap. Always give the SS bowl a quick clean when tasked with refilling the bottle. The point here is to make sure your pet dog always has access to clean drinking water.
